1) My fonts are changing in the Text Entry fields i.e. in certain browsers and on the Articulate app on the iPad, the fonts I've used are not being used in any of the text entry or reference fields. I've been told it's something to do with fonts not being embedded.. is there a workaround? Otherwise it messes up the whole design!!
2) On the Articulate app on the ipad, the Menu/resources button disappears.. any workarounds for this??
1) When you include variable references in text boxes, you may find that the font applied to the variable reference does not display as expected in HTML5 output or the Articulate Mobile Player app for iPad. This article has more information.
2) And currently, as you already know, the Resources menu isn't available in the Mobile Player app. Would something like a custom lightbox menu be a good replacement?
Hi Peter, I would expect that this doesn't work for HTML5 or the iPad app. The problem is that is doesnt work in the flash file either, if you do not have the font installed, references and data entry field do not show the expected font. It looks like you are not embedding the font in the swf.
Looks like you probably already received this information, but text from variable references aren't able to be embedded, unless that exact same font is installed on the end-user's machine.

Was there ever resolution to this? I am having an issue where the text on screen is not embedding - it's not even an editable text field.
Hey Rusty!
Looks like you probably already received this information, but text from variable references aren't able to be embedded, unless that exact same font is installed on the end-user's machine.
