Storyline Jump to URL?File not working

Hello, when I try and add the "Jump to URL/File" trigger to my button with a url address of http://www.google.com it does not seem to work, I tested to see if its grabbing the address correctly, I tested to see if there was any issue with the button, check my browser settings to see if there were any issues with the tabs, or if pop up blocker was enabled, I uninstalled/reinstalled articulate, restated my computer. Now I don't know what else I can do, I click on the button and nothing happens, any help would be awesome. As a side note other internal triggers seem to work, grabbing variables jumping to slides etc., however, my javascript triggers don't seem to be working properly either, browser issue?
I am using Internet explorer version 8 using default settings. thanks

Hi Dustin! I just want to make sure that you are testing your content in it's intended environment. There is an article here that goes through publishing and sharing your Storyline content.

Yes, I have ensured that I am testing my content in it's intended environment, and have determined it is an issue with my browser that is specific to my computer. I say this because I have tested this on two of my co-worker's computers, as well as the published storyline file I created and the trigger/functionality works as intended on the other machines.
I am using flash player version 11.7, internet explorer 8. Thanks again for your help!!

Dustin, I apologize if I misread earlier. Did you still need assistance or were you making me aware that you knew what your issue was? If you still need assistance, I'm going to recommend that you submit a case so that we can troubleshoot with you.
Dustin, this is probably something you've already checked, but is there maybe something over the button on the slide? I edited someone's work the other day where the text box containing answer choices on a quiz slide covered the exit button in the course and they couldn't figure out for the life of them why it wouldn't work. All it took was moving the button to the front.

I was working with the Articulate Story-line till last week and I cannot open that on this week. I am not getting any error messages or anything - when I click on the project it opens the Articulate window but does nothing after. Please help me find a resolution.
