This morning as I've been working on my project, Storyline has been kicking me out whenever I try to work on one of the elements I've added. This happens particularly when it's in the timeline and I want to change the start time in the dialogue box or rename the element in the timeline.

It sounds like you've narrowed it down to a specific item. If you open a new file and use the same item, do you experience the same result? If so, the item may be corrupt.

If the issue only happens in this course, I would recommend that you import the file into a new one and proceed.
