I am having marker issues with Storyline 360. If I reposition the marker's display/ pop-up box, the text appears outside of it. See the video for the example. I have tried resizing text and the same thing still occurs. Is anyone else having this issues and/or how can it be fixed without having to have all the pop-up boxes go the same direction.
Hi there Dana--thanks for the screen recording! That's so odd; I can't say I've seen markers act that way before. I tried re-creating the issue in a new Storyline 360 file, but I still need your help.
Can you share your project file with me? If you'd like to keep it private, use this form instead.
Thanks for getting back to me. Do you want the file with the error? If I don't reposition the pop up box the issue is fixed so that is currently how it is in the course. I can move the pop up box to create the same issue as the video shows.
Just let me know which version and I can upload it.
I see your case and that Abel was able to recreate it and it's a possible software bug. He's reported it to our team and we'll keep you updated here and in the forums.
What's your coworkers name so I can follow up on his case too?
Having a similar issue where some of my testers are showing the marker box too small for text (scroll bar appears which I try to avoid) and some show the same text box as sized correctly. infuriating to say the least. :)
So I think I may have figured it out.. (knock on wood!) The tites of my text box were showing up sideways (90 degrees) which was pushing my body text down invisibly? I couldn't fix th sideways titles for the life of me, until I figured out that my titles built into slidemaster for that slide were 90 degrees too (for aesthetic purposes). Why the markers took on the attributes of the slide master, I have no idea, but at least I found a work around! HOpe this helps someone else too!
Thanks Megan for the update and glad it's working for you now! If you need anything else let us know and also you can always share a copy of your project file with us too. You can upload it using the “ADD ATTACHMENT” button at the bottom of the reply window.

I'm excited to announce that we've released the fix for the bug where title text appeared outside of the marker when applying the Grow and Spin animation to the marker!
You can find this bug fix included in Update 36 (Build 3.36.21213.0) for Storyline 360! The best way to stay up to date with the newest features and bug fixes is by updating the Articulate 360 Desktop App.

Hi Dana,
If you could send me the "broken" version, that would be great. Thank you!
Alyssa,
I just submitted a case. A co-worker of mine is having a similar issue. He is also submitting a case so please keep an eye out for that one as well.
Thank you!

Megan,
What ended up being the issue for me was having a grow and spin animation. I would try switching that up. It could be an easy fix. If not good luck!
