I created a short 14 slide deck with some pretty cool layered animations to use in a training video, and on import to Storyline, discovered that Storyline does not appear to respect either the animations or the layers as designed. It's like Storyline is reading the order differently. Is there some different way of thinking or set of logic to consider when designing a deck for Storyline?
Please don't point me to the canned videos online, none have been overly helpful.

Have you had an opportunity to check out this article about Tips on Importing Microsoft PowerPoint and Articulate Presenter Content? This may give you an idea on what PowerPoint features are supported in Storyline.

Thank you for that - given the lack of advanced compatibility, it's likely going to be better to produce this content using Presenter.
