Storyline not saving changes prior to actual file save?

I've been having an issue where I will make a change to a slide, and before the file is saved the change is reverted back. For instance, I will move an object to be in sync with audio, and then when I return to the slide later on, the object is back to where it started, out of sync. This is happening while still in the file. I have not closed the file without saving. Has anyone else encountered this or know of a way to stop this from happening other than saving after every single change?
