It looks like Ubuntu platforms have Firefox as their default browser, and that is one of the supported browsers for viewing Storyline output. What version of Storyline will you be publishing with? Here are the system requirements for Storyline 3 (will be similar to Storyline 360).
I'd recommend publishing for Web or LMS, and then uploading the content to your server or LMS to share with the client.

CD-published output will not work, because it is a Windows exe.
