Hi! Is there a way to make the Storyline Player Base > > bg all one color? I have changed the top and bottom colors to be exactly the same, but the top half is always darker than the bottom.
Yeah, it is hard to see in the picture. I have uploaded the file. You can change the color to anything and it will always be darker on the top and lighter on the bottom. It's as if there is a built in fade effect. When using grey it is very noticeable. I have received comments from coworkers regarding the color variation.
Thank you for sharing your file. I was able to test the colors using a new feature of Storyline 2. The eyedropper tool lets you choose colors from anything on your slide or desktop. I opened your file in preview mode, and selected the top corner and then the bottom corner to see what the RGB levels were. They were both the same color.
I did notice, that depending on where I moved the file on my screen the shade of the blue did alter slightly in my eyes. But just to be sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me, I also tested several shades of grey in the player, and did also turn out to be the same RGB levels.

Hello Melinda,
Unfortunately I am unable to see a difference in the colors in the image you shared.
Do you have a file you could share so we could take a closer look? Also please make sure you are working locally as described here.

All my story files are saved to my hard drive.
