Storyline & Presenter V5

Articulate Storyline is a completely stand-alone product & can't impact add-ins that are installed in PowerPoint.  Can you try installing Storyline again and submit a support case to us if you still have the issue?

Been a member of the community for a good while now, just never posted!!

I appreciate that Storyline is standalone, however I can't see any other reason why Presenter would stop working.

I might wait til the weekend to try reinstalling Storyline, training is just part of my role and I have spent far too much time trying to resolve my issue. Guess I better actually do some work!!!

Can I ask you a quick question?

The training I produce is mainly software demos, but has quite a lot of text. In the past I have used multiple screenshots in Powerpoint and videos in engage to demostrate the software. Storyline seems like the perfect tool, but my company is in a quandry re whether to upgrade to Presenter 9 or get Storyline.

One of the key issues is that I would liek to import my current engage slides, but they are not build in v9. Is there any way around this?

Absolutely. Storyline will beat presenter / engage hands down for software demos. That's a major power feature offered by Storyline.

Engage comes in as a Web object. I haven't tested importing older versions but these should work.

I tried it last night and they would not import, come to think of it Powerpoint would not import either.

When I get a chance I willr einstall storyline and try again. If I get the same issue I will open a support case.

Just out of interest, what benefits do you see Presenter having over Storyline.
