Storyline problem....

Hi.. I have a slide that contains 4 things in the timeline... image, character, text etc. I want the state of the character to change from neutral to talking but this state needs to change only 2 seconds into the slide i.e. hi my name is Greg. I have adjusted the timeline for the character only back to 2 seconds. The entire slide timeline is about 8 seconds. When I publish the slide, the character is removed from the slide completely at 2 seconds mark I set it at.. If I change to the end of the timeline (with the rest of the images etc) it works. Surely you can have a state changing halfway through a timeline???

If you reduce the character timeline to two seconds then it will disappear at 2 seconds
I would stretch the character out to the end of the timeline, then add a shape on the timeline that is off the slide but two seconds long. Add a trigger to change the character state when this object timeline ends
