Hello, I have a problem with a project that I have been working in Storyline and now I can't open it. Can I recuperate it? I had the link of the publish of the last version.
The error say: this project is invalid or corrupt and cannot be oppened. It may have been created in an earlier version of storyline.
Saving to your local C: drive and closing Storyline daily are two of the easiest ways to protect your files. If you didn't get a project recovery message, there might be a temporary file saved on your computer. Here's how to check:
Open this folder in Windows Explorer: %appdata%\Articulate\Storyline
Scan the contents of this folder for a file that starts with the name of your project. If you find one, copy it to your desktop. If you find more than one, copy the latest version to your desktop.
Change the file extension of the copy on your desktop from *.tmp to *.story.
