Help! I've created a storyline project but the latest version won't open when I launch it. I've tried opening Storyline and browsing, opening the file direct by clicking on it - but the software just sits there - no error messages - and when I hover over the title, it says ...loading.
Other projects, and my most recent backup, load OK. Anything I can do to avoid doing all my last updates again?
Hi Susan, I hope you have been able to recover your project file without redoing latest updates. If not, a possible (fingers your crossed) option would be to try importing the slides into a new project. Good luck. Christine
I now have a new problem. I had menu switched on for reviewing purposes and was publishing to CD for reviewers to note the slide that needed updates. Now I find I can't switch the menu off. I have unchecked all the resources and menu checkboxes (I just want a plain player with absolutely no buttons etc) -but the menu keeps appearing whatever I do.
Is this setting turned on at the slide properties level perhaps? That could be why you are experiencing difficulty if you are adjusting it within the player.
If you need us to take a look, please feel free to share your .story file.

Had to re-edit from a backup version :-( Wasn't using slides!

That was it - the slide properties were on, despite turning it off on the Player. Thanks for the prompt response :-)
Glad to be able to assist Susan :)
