I am trying to use Storyline to create an exam with 50 questions drawn from a 100 question "Question Bank." I have 5 categories of questions and would like to pull a specific number of questions from each category, say 20 from category 1, 10 from category 2, etc. I tried creating 5 question banks but then the categories aren't be interspersed. I appears that Quizmaker allows this using Question Groups. Is there are way to do the same thing within Storyline?
I think the naming needs changing. In Storyline 2 it indicates you can Lock Questions to Top of Group but Storyline 2 does not use groups (like Quizmaker). Should it be renamed to Top of Bank?
Ah, interesting catch John. I have not seen anyone mention that before. Since that is part of the player and not just documentation, I'd recommend sharing your thoughts in a feature request for our team.

Hi Suzanne!
You will be able to use and randomize the questions in each category/bank within Storyline.
Sounds like you are asking about the feature to Randomize Groups, like in Quizmaker, in addition to this, and this is not a feature of Storyline.
Perhaps someone in the community will be able to assist you in your design.
Correct. I want to Randomize Groups like in Quizmaker.
Not sure if someone has an idea for you, but I would invite you to submit a feature request as well.

I'd probably classify it more as a 'fix' request rather than a 'feature' request ;-)
