Our ELM system does not maintain specifics for quiz details we would like to see in a report. I've been deferred to the software tool itself to create what we are wanting from our learners. My scenario is this:
We want to track first attempt scores to ascertain a true assessment of the learner's knowledge. Learners are figuring out work-arounds by exiting the player before the end slide, Relaunching, and retaking the quiz.
How do we contain this practice and prevent "relaunch" of the module itself and limit quizzes?
How do we trigger and keep a recorded score with the first attempt and not have the quiz score be a recorded result after failing numerous times but finally getting a passing score after a 10th attempt?

Hi, Noel -- Thanks so much for reaching out here and sorry for your troubles! You may want to consider sharing the name of the ELM/LMS you are using in case there are others here in the community who use the same provider and may have encountered a similar issue. And perhaps you may want to take a look at this discussion in case it could help with what you have in mind?

Storyline can only limit attempts in a 'session'. Actual attempts of exiting and re-launching are typically handled by the LMS.
Not sure if you can share the platform you are utilizing and perhaps someone in the community will be able to assist you. Otherwise, I'd reach out to your LMS team.
