Storyline - Recording a project

Hello-

I’ve been using storyline for a while now, but this is my first time recording a project and I’m having some difficulty. I’m trying to breakout my recording/clicks by slide rather than one video on one slide. I selected the:

·         “Step-by-step slides” mode

·         And within that I tried the view, try and test mode

Then after I hit insert, every time it’s creating one video. I’m sure I’m missing something small, but I’m just not seeing it – help please.
