Storyline Scene - Disconnect from Presentation

I have an interesting situation.  I created a scene to play with images, set things up, etc - and wanted it to remain unlinked to the rest of the presentation.  Basically, I wanted to create a scene where I could have re-usable elements, and have it not show in the final published version.  However, even though I have no slides or scenes linking to the "play" scene, it shows in the Left Navigation.  Is there a way to have that scene not appear in the published version?  Or do I just have to delete the scene?
