When I select Slide Master from the View menu, I can change font type etc but the changes don't cascade through to quiz slides. I don't seem to have a quiz layout in the Slide Master, therefore I can't change the font style, size or colour on quiz slides. Please help!
Did you not have a quiz layout within your Slide master? Mine appears as the third and fourth options with the Slide Masters. You could also try right clicking on a slide, then Layouts - and you should be able to see it there.
