Is there a way to change the default path to the "My Articulates Projects" folder?
It defaults to "My Documents" which in and amongst itself isn't an issue. The issue is my "My Documents" is mapped to a networkdrive and Storyline doesnt like it much.
Was just wishing this worked different today myself... would be nice if things defaulted to the last place you saved something. I'm pretty sure I've seen this question asked before and the answer was that it is not possible to change this default.
Add me to the list of users who wish the default Publish location could be changed. While it's nice that you can change the path in the Publish dialog, it gets pretty tiresome after the hundredth time!
(Background: We just got new computers, and our wonderful IT department has now mapped My Documents to a network drive that syncs throughout the day. Being on VPN, the less I sync the better. That's why I want/need to publish somewhere other than My Documents > My Articulate Projects.)
I can totally relate! I save and publish files all day - I never save to the default path or publish to the default path. :)
If you haven't already, I'd encourage you to send a suggestion over to our development team. The more requests and information we see, the better. Please try to be as detailed as possible.
