I have posted a lot here trying to get this to work in all environments. The majority of the problem has been once the course was on our LMS (cornerstone). After that I had issues controlling animations created in Adobe Animate. I have resolved all above. I can give more details if anyone is interested. I have only tested this in Chrome because all of our learners use Chrome.
I have communication from web object to SL too but that is less complicated. This works for me in all environments: var player = parent.GetPlayer(); player.SetVar("storylineVar", 'value');
This looks really interesting. Looking at the example that you give the controls on/off buttons are working but the video doesn't play when I use the play/pause toggle. I'm using Chrome browser - do you know if why the play/pause function isn't working? Maybe a Chrome update?
I'm not sure if Curtis is still subscribed here but you could always use the "contact me" button on a ELH users' profile to reach out to them directly!

Hi Conor,

Best of luck with your project!
Just realized that is not a public facing video we use a system with our learners that pulls the video directly from their hardrives.
