Storyline to webpage
Jul 20, 2017
I know this question has been asked a few times, but I can't find the exact answer I am looking for. I would like to upload a storyline file to my website so that it functions as a real course. I found something about using an FTP, but my websites FTP requires a username and password? So I am stumped as to what to do to get to where it will display and just work. :) I can't figure out the directory entry needed to publish straight to an ftp from storyline, so I used FileZilla that gave me a url, that I attached to a button but I am still running into the login information being needed. Also when I publish it for the web, do I zip it and link it to the zipped file or to the unzipped file. As you can see I have no idea what I am doing, so if there are some instructions somewhere I would greatly appreciate them. :) I am using storyline 360.

Hi Catherine
the url you get is something like:
ftp://fufu8172@ftp.fuziondezign.com.au/April2017/markers-SL3%20-%20Storyline%20output/story_html5.html
change the beginning of the url to http://www.
so it should now look like this
http://www.fuziondezign.com.au/April2017/markers-SL3%20-%20Storyline%20output/story_html5.html
then you can share this link and it shouldn't ask for a password.
