Storyline Topbar Right Exit option

Hi folks,

I am hoping somebody can help me here.  I am working on a course in Storyline and I would like the option of having the Exit displayed in the player next to Resources.  Except, the option to select Exit is MISSING! 

I opened another course, which I created many months ago, to confirm that I was not dreaming of its existance and in the other course IT IS THERE!  So tell me where did it go?  Was it removed in some sort of upgrade?  How can I get the option to display again?  When in the Player properties the only available option is now Resources.

Hi Colleen,

If I'm understanding you correctly, you'll need to add that "Exit" tab so that it will appear next to resources. At least for me, it's not there by default.

To add it, while in the player:

  1. Click the Add button, beneath the Player Tabs section of the screen
  2. When the trigger Wizard opens, type the word Exit in the Name box
  3. Determine the desired position from the Align drop down
  4. Determine the Action from the Action drop-down
  5. Determine the When from the when drop-down
