Storyline v2 - Background music for each scene

I have read past posts but they don't seem to be the solution to my problem. I have a course that consists of several scenes, those scenes also contain quiz questions throughout. Some scenes also contain videos.
I am wanting to add background music to each scene whereby I can choose to pause it on certain slides in those scene (namely the slides that contain videos).
I don't want to break up my music on a per slide basis as this is messy and creates a disjointed flow to the music.
I also cannot combine multiple slides into layers to get this to work, as I have quiz questions throughout each scene.
I appreciate that Storyline v2 doesn't do this easily but I do hope the eLearning heroes can help. I even downloaded a trial version of 360 just in case it had this functionality (it doesn't).

Hi there Maree! I think you'll need to use Javascript to achieve this, since this is not a built-in function of Storyline. I'm no Javascript expert, so I'll have to defer to the community on this one.
Also, I've seen this idea come up a number of times in the forums, so this would be an excellent feature request. The beauty of Articulate 360 is that we're able to roll out updates pretty frequently, and we appreciate when users let us know what features they'd like to see in future updates!

Thanks for the response. I did look at scripting, however all that I have read is either beyond my skillset or doesn't' do what I need it to do.
I have added a feature request so hopefully this functionality won't be too far in the future.
Thanks for submitting that feature request, Maree. I know that is a feature that a number of users would like to see in future updates.
In the mean time, hopefully one of your fellow community members who has done this kind of thing before can provide the steps needed to add music across multiple slides!
