Storyline won't open... help please!

I've had Storyline since October and it has worked fine...I'm still on a learning curve, but it's so far been a "user error" vs. a software problem. It worked fine the first part of December, but I've been off on vacation a couple of weeks and now that I'm back, it just will NOT OPEN. I get a pop up that says I must have the a newer version of FLASH for it to work... which I already had. But I downloaded/installed it again anyway. I still get the same error message and it won't open. Any ideas?
