With Storyline 1, I had no problem creating courses that would open on mobile devices simply by selecting the html5 option when publishing. I recently started working on an online ed resource with a colleague working on a free math book for our students. I am using Storyline2 to help make it an interactive text. This is my first time publishing with Storyline2. I recently upload our first example to the web: http://izzomath.com/103text/finance/example1.1/story.html . I also attached the file. Please help me ensure our students will be able to open the storyline math problems on their mobile devices. Thank you for your time.
This seems to be a problem with the redirection script to either Flash or the Mobile Player App. If I go to the HTML5 content directly (http://izzomath.com/103text/finance/example1.1/story_html5.html) it launches on my iPad and Android device. Not sure what the problem could be, other than your server blocking this somehow.
Thanks for the quick response. I use GoDaddy and there was no issue when publishing with Storyline1. I will contact them tomorrow to see if there is an issue on their end now.
So I can upload to google drive and create a link to the story file? Can you outline this process. Again, thank you for the help Michael. It appears you are a hero.
Ok, just got out of messaging with GoDaddy. The tech said there is no redirect code in story.html code. I have uploaded other courses with Storyline1 and all is fine. For example: http://www.izzomath.com/LngMods/Quadratics/story.html and it works fine. Any idea about the redirect code?
Did you test the content in a different environment? I would personally advise Tempshare for convenience since it's automatically deleted after 10 days for you :)
Honestly, you could share the example you posted here to show that it works as expected off AWS. Maybe that will help in the diagnosis of what is being blocked/re-directed.
Perhaps others in the community have experience to share as well.

In the meantime, I would try uploading the content to some other server, e.g. TempShare, GoogleDrive or DropBox and see if it works from there.

I haven't done this in a long time, so I'd better refer you to this thread here.

I opened Storyline2 and checked for updates, said I am all up to date.
Hi Larry!

Thanks Leslie, that was easy. Here is the link:
http://s3.amazonaws.com/tempshare-stage.storyline.articulate.com/stp19jjm2v2b3371egh1op51qomhfg4/story.html
It automatically kicks me to the mobile player now. What should I tell GoDaddy?
Given that the Storyline1 files work fine.
