Is there a way to make an e-learning module in Storyline 3 so that the participant cannot skip screens and move ahead? When I uploaded the module to my LMS I made the necessary changes in the LMS to make sure the module had to be done in order but the participant can still skip screens.
Phil's got you covered it seems - so I wanted to give this tutorial to you as a back up. You can see all the Storyline 3 tutorials linked on the ride side of that page too!
I refer to these tutorials daily - so much good stuff in there!
Thank you for sending me the tutorials. I reviewed many of them but I am still having a problem. I restricted the slides from going further but the issue I am having now is that when the slide is done and I click next to proceed to the next slide I hit the button and nothing happens. I keep hitting the button and it's as though there is a timer delay on the screen before the slide will change. Is there a way to fix that and how do I do it?

Hi Lisa
this is the behaviour of the 'restricted' menu - the user cannot proceed until the timeline of the slide ends, then they can click the Next button. You can try decreasing the duration of the timeline or you could disable the next button until the timeline ends that way the user wouldn't try to click it until it was 'enabled'.
If the slide timeline has ended and you're still not able to click the next button to advance, can you share a copy of your .story file with us? That way we can take a look at what's happening.

You can set the menu to restricted’ for interaction you will need to lock then down on your individual slides.
Thanks Phil!...Where can I find the menu to set it to restricted?????
In the player settings on the home tab. Go to the menu, press the cog on the bottom and choose restricted.
Thank you so much Phil!!!!

Thanks Ashley. I adjusted my time line and so far it seems to be working. Thank you!
