Storyline360 Baselayer Button State on Revisit
Feb 12, 2017
Hey All,
- Buttons along top of base layer act as tabs to open content layer
- When content layer closed, base layer button remains in selected state as desired.
- Except for one button that reverts to Normal state when the related content layer is closes
- Driving me nuts.
- Comparing settings for layers, and buttons, and triggers and phases of the moon reveals no discernible differences between the ones that work (remain in selected state) and the one that does not.
- Suggestions??
Thanks
Vince

Hard to say without seeing the file, but maybe the button that resets to Normal is a part of a button set?
Well who knew? Turns out somehow I set a slide trigger (didn't even know
they existed) to return button state to normal if user clicked outside the
button(the layer had a text trigger which set off the slide trigger.) The
trigger was buried in the trigger list. I somehow after hours of messing
with the problem I found it almost immediately after I posted the
questions! I think eLearning Heros must be some kind of psychic hotline or
something.
Thanks.
Yeah, a rogue slide trigger would have been my next guess :-)
Glad you were able to get that sorted Vince and thanks for popping in to share your findings. I don't know about psychic hotline, but just a lot of experience within these threads :) There is something pretty therapeutic about talking your problems out too - many are able to solve their own questions it seems.
