I'm getting an error with Storyline where any slide that I'm adding has a red crossed out box in the "timeline" pane. It is also giving me this error report pop-up. Anyone have this problem?
I've seen it before, and it generally is resolved by running a quickrepairof the software. Then, please be sure to follow these general tips to avoid strange behavior:
1. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
3. Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
I'm trying to repair the software and am wondering if you can give me the link to where I can re-download the installation file for Storyline since I do not believe it is still on my machine.

Hi Jesse,
I've seen it before, and it generally is resolved by running a quick repair of the software. Then, please be sure to follow these general tips to avoid strange behavior:

If you're still having trouble, please feel free to send your .story file over to us so we can do some testing on our end.
Thanks Ashley,
