Strange start-button audio-/video Error
Sep 21, 2020
Hello,
I have a strange problem in Storyline 360.
I often create small video Web Based Trainings that consists of 6 Slides - on Slide 3 is a video, the other slides are just text and images.
I also have a title screen in the beginning with just an image and a start Button. The start button just leads to the next slide (slide 2).
Here is the strange thing (I think a bug) that happens to me repeatedly for some weeks now (never had happened before that): on the title screen page I click on a start button (or on the "continue" button of the player that also leads to the next slide).
While it is switching to the next page I can hear the first second of the video audio playing. I don't know why - there is no connection between the video and the Start or continue button, the video is not even on the second slide but on the 3rd slide.
It doesn't matter if I select in the video settings that the video should be clicked to start or is supposed to start automatically or even that I tried to drag the video on the timeline to 1 second (so that it doesn't start right from the beginning of loading the slide etc. - nothing seems to work, I always get the same bug since several weeks (that you can hear the audio of the video when clicking the start button - at least the very first second of the audio of the video!).
Has anybody else encountered a similar bug or has an explanation for this strange behavior?

Hi Stefan!
I'm happy to help! Do you mind also attaching your project so that I can test exactly what you see on your end?
