stumped by drag and drop slide

Mar 15, 2017

I'm puzzled as to why this slide does not work. It's bound to be something simple but it's escaping me at the moment. Would anyone like to educate me, please?

Hi Lawrence,

Could you tell us a bit more about what's not working? I took a look and saw that there were a couple different drop targets for true/false and I suspect you may only have wanted to include one option each. But I'm not sure which one. :-)

Based on the set up I was able to drag and drop them into the true/false sections and be scored incorrectly - so the drag and drop itself does seem to be working.

If you want to share a bit more information about what you're seeing and what you'd like to see, that would be helpful and we can take a better look at your course!

Ashley,
My apologies – I think I was fried by the time I wrote my plea. I should have included which ones were to correct ones and which were the incorrect.
The “TRUE” answers are:
“I speak to patients in a way they can understand”
“Keeping my workspace neat & tidy is important”
“CMS reimbursement is tied to our HCAHPS score”
“Treating patients with respect is important”
The “FALSE” answers are:
“My unit isn’t questioned”
“Patients can be discharged without proper instructions”
“A patient’s pain management is NOT important”

When I drag’n’drop the relevant answers onto either the box or the icon or the word, I continually get an incorrect answer. The goal I’d like to achieve is that when dragging the answer onto their respective areas/word/icon (but mainly rectangular area), Storyline360 would mark the student’s attempt as correct or incorrect.

Have I missed anything? I’m feeling refreshed and able to learn today, so please take your chance ☺

Hi Lawrence,

Sorry for my delay - a bit of a winter cold has come over me. :(

As Phil said though, you've got some of your drop targets set wrong, and some of your targets are not the same even when pointing to False. You can see that in this image here.

Give those all a double check and then things should work normally and as you'd expect!

Also just wanted to also give you a heads up that responding via email includes your signature here in ELH. You are welcome to visit the forum discussion and click on the "edit" below your post to remove that information. No worries on our part - just in case you don't want your information publicly!
