Styling a form with additional elements using functions

Jan 19, 2021

Hey everyone,

I'm having a bit of a problem and I need a quick fix, hope you guys can help me out.

Articulate doesn't let me change the looks of my form the way I want so I'm trying to work around that by linking the states of additional elements to the states of the form, this worked out great so far.

But I'm having problems with the multiple response question type. I've tried literally almost everything. Working with variables, working with states, nothing seems to work.

This is what I want to do:

1. When the user clicks option 1 (text-object with state 'normal'), I want the same option in the multiple response form to be selected.

So far so good.

2. When the user clicks option 1 (text-object) with state 'selected', I want the same option in the multiple response form to be deselected and change to it's initial state 'normal'.

This is what Articulate doesn't seem to understand.

Anyone that has a bit of knowledge and experience about functions in articulate? Please help me out, I would be very thankful.
