Submit data entry field to a text file?

Hi there I have just been learning about the data entery field here:

This is ace although is there any steps on how to submit a date entry field somewhere for the teacher? Like a text file? This wont be on an LMS unfortunately. If all else fails steps for submitting using an LMS will do I can host it on there.
