SuccessStatus = unknown

Jul 14, 2016

Hi all,

In our first crack at publishing in SCORM 2004 V4 (for more in depth reporting) our LMS provider tells me when they test the course and pass, it isn't marking complete and its sending the subject line message.

It is also showing Success Unknown in SCORM Cloud

I left all parameters the same as for 1.2. which works.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Hi, Brian -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your difficulties! It looks like a similar issue was reported over here in this thread, and when I looked in on the case, the following was shared, (which I thought I might pass it along in case you are using the same publish settings):

"Using "Completed/Incomplete" will only report the Completion status. To report both completion status and success status to an LMS, select either Passed/Incomplete or Passed/Failed as the reporting option when publishing your Articulate Storyline content. See this article for more information."

Please let us know if that helps, and if issues persist, you may want to use this form to submit your debug log information to our Support Engineers for additional review.

Hi Christie,

This course as with all others we have successfully published and assigned are using completed/failed which has been working for our reporting within Success Factors. The only variable that I can see is this course was published in 2004 v4. Would it be possible that 2004 requires a different option?

I will submit the debug log as suggested.

(note: your second link only takes me to a search page (which is always helpful anyway))

Cheers

Hi, Brian -- Thanks for letting me know that the 2nd link was not functioning properly, and I've updated it now for others who come across this discussion. And I am not certain that  2004 would require a different option, so I will definitely be on the lookout for your case and will be sure to follow along with our engineers' progress there!
