I'm suddenly unable to view published Storyline project locally. I'm using Chrome to view my projects as usual. Nothing has changed in what I'm doing. When I publish my project and click on "View Project" I just get a spinning wheel. If I go into the Storyline output folder and click on story.html I get the same thing - spinning wheel. This happens with all my storyline project now. However I can view them in IE locally. Any suggestions?
We always recommend viewing your published output in its intended environment (web, LMS, etc) to make sure you aren't missing any functions due to browser security. But the above discussion does a good job of addressing this latest issue.
But what about reviewing content before going through the often tedious process of uploading to an LMS? Or what about if you have to deliver content to a client to review and approve before they upload to their LMS? Is the only option now to always publish to CD first?
If you use Internet explorer to open your course, you will be able view it without any issue. This would help you to do your review before you push it into the LMS.
If you are publishing for LMS, Ashley, a great testing ground for your content is SCORM Cloud. You'll be able to see how your course will look as well as check to ensure it is reporting and tracking in the way that you need.

Hey, Lou. We discovered this issue, ourselves, when Chrome updated with Flash Player 23. We've got a discussion here with some more information. This comment has a great screencast of how to enable that content in Chrome again.

Hope this helps.
