In this scenario, a learner could fail one or more of the individual quizzes and still pass the overall course.

Thanks Leslie and Ashley. I appreciate your responses and I'll check the links which Leslie provided. LMS debug sounds like it might be what I was looking for. My original desire was to see explicitly what was being passed to the LMS for completion data.
The problem is our LMS is (sometimes) not recording completions and we can't figure out why.
However, since the quizzes are set up with unlimited tries we are trying the method of reporting based on pages viewed. The latest version are in the process of being uploaded now.

Since it sounds like the score doesn't matter and you want to simply track based more on completion, you may want to consider tracking via a specific slide as well. Just thought I'd share.
