Summary Slide?
Jun 10, 2014
Hi --
I'm using storyline for developing an online weight control intervention. Throughout the course, I have individuals select certain strategies that they would find most helpful. I do this by creating shapes with text boxes and have them click the ones that apply. Although I can see what they selected in my SCORM output, I was hoping to have a summary slide at the end of the intervention, where those boxes would reappear. Is there a way to do this? I know I can have typed text reappear with the "Resource" function, but I haven't figured out how to do this with clicked shapes. I've attached what I am envisioning.
If I can create this summary slide, is there a way that users could save it as a PDF?
Thank you!
Lauren

Hi Lauren,
I have put together a simple one for you that uses triggers and variables to get the summary slide you desire.
Please also look at the settings on the layers on slide 2.1 as you have to turn off "Hide other slide layers on each layer" for this to work. I have done this already.
The layout might not be the best but at least this will get you started with a basic solution.
Unfortunately I am unable to advise on how to create a PDF other than to have a print slide javascript trigger which I have included on the Summary slide via the Print button trigger. The user could then use a print to PDF option if they have one on their computer.
Although the slide might need some adjusting to have it print properly.
I hope this helps.
Cheers
Andrew
Hi Lauren,
It looks like Andrew helped you out with a good example here - and if you're looking to print the slide itself, you may want to review a thread such as the one here on how to set up Storyline to print a slide using Javascript.
