I'm working on storyline 360 (version:3.17.16188.0) and there are superscripts in my audio script. Those are not working properly in preview mode and published version as well. Any solutions for this issue?
Sorry, it is not the right time to use modern player. We already submitted half modules to client with classic player and the problem i'm getting after i updated my Storyline 360 version. If your team fix this bug ASAP, that would be great helpful for us.
I completely understand, Vijay. I'm sure you're feeling pressure from your client to get this right. I'll bring this up with my team for consideration as we prioritize bugs and fixes.
Any update on a fix for this bug? I too need to keep my course in the Classic player for the same reason Vijay stated. I'm using the font Proxima Nova, synced via Typekit. I'm running Storyline 360 version 3.19.16600.0.
Hi, I'm checking to see if this issue been resolved? I'm facing the same issue. I am using the classic player, my client does not want to use the modern player.
While we wait for Articulate to resolve this issue, there is a workaround you can try.,,use the Symbol feature in Storyline's Insert menu to insert superscript or subscript characters (see attached).
The Symbol feature is disabled while your mouse pointer is in the Notes panel so instead insert a temporary text box on the slide and use the Symbol feature to insert the desired superscripted or subscripted character. Then copy that character and paste it where you want it to appear in the Notes panel. When you preview or publish your project, those characters should appear properly.
Not all fonts have a wide range of superscripted/subscripted characters. For example, Open Sans does not have as many such characters available as Calibri. If your font does not have the character you need in superscript/subscript form, you may be able to find that character in another font that appears very similar to the font you're using for the majority of your Notes text.
Just wondering when there will be a fix for this? We use super and subscripts a lot. Using symbols as suggested does not work for us in Storyline 360. The symbols are still unreadable no matter how large we make the text.
Our team is still investigating this issue, so I appreciate you letting us know that it's affecting your projects. As soon as we have a fix in place, we'll share the news here!
In the meantime, we're happy to have a look at your course to see what approaches we can offer. If you're able to share the .story file, please use this private upload link!
Thanks for your reply. But we need a solution for this. we already convinced the client but he does not agree with that type of issue. Let me know please how much time you need to resolve that type of issue.
It's too bad this hasn't been resolved yet. It took 3 legal reviews on my project for me to realize that when I closed the project the superscript got crazy again. What a waste of 3 weeks of my time.

Hi there, Vijay. Thanks for reaching out! I want to nail down exactly where this issue is occurring, so I have a couple of questions:
Let me know, and we'll see what's happening!
Hi Crystal,
I'm using classic player and audio script is in notes tab only.
Hi Vijay,
We're seeing an issue in Storyline 360 where superscripts appear too small in the Notes tab, as shown in this screenshot:
Does this look similar to what you're seeing in your file?
Hi Alyssa,
Yes, i'm facing the same issue.
Thanks for confirming that, Vijay. We're seeing the same thing on our end--really sorry for the trouble it's causing you!
Do you have the option to use the Modern Player instead? The superscripts appear correctly in the Modern Player.
Hopefully that alternative will work for you in the meantime, and I'll keep you posted on our progress with this bug!
