support quality

Jul 07, 2013

Hi everyone!

I have faced a very strange thing: I reported three times about the Trial version bug, that is when I start the program it says I have a trial version and counts down days available, and nobody ever reacted to that. I find this really strange as to my knowledge the support from Articulate has always been outstanding. Can anyone recommend something? I will highly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Maxim.

Hi Maxim!

Not sure what's going on with this, honestly. I do see one case that was opened for this specific issue (#00343183 for my reference) and I do see a response from Joe that was sent on 7/2/2013. I'm afraid I haven't been able to find the two other cases you mentioned - unless maybe you used another email address or mentioned the trouble in cases for other issues?

No matter the reason, I do apologize for the delay. Perhaps the responses went to your spam folder with your email address? It might be a good idea to add support@articulate.com to a safe senders list, if you haven't already.

If you still haven't received the response from Joe, please let me know. I can request to have the message sent out again, or we can try another email address if you'd like.

Thanks!

Hi Chrisitne,

Thanks for your advice, it worked well. I was able to find messages from Joe and reinstalled the software so  it now seems to work properly. I appreciate your support and thank you very much.

On question though. Is there a way to go around bullet points in Storyline to make them look nicer? Is there a pool of different options to select from (like in Powerpoint, for instance)?

Thanks a lot, Maxim.

Hi there Maxim,

That's fantastic, happy to hear it :)

There are a couple of bullet issues that we are working on, and there's a collection of suggestions/workarounds in a few threads around the forums. Depending on what you'd like to do with them, or if you just want to clean up the way they're displayed, some of the suggestions may help you out.

Here's some resources on the topic that may help:

As for the different styles, it might be best to try inserting shapes or symbols, just to be safe and to give the appearance of different formatting styles.

Thanks very much Maxim.

Have a great day!
