I am currently creating a feedback survey based on sliders to pick options/answers (see screen attached). Is there a way in which 'submit' buttons can be used to capture the data presented by the slider bars?
I need the data captured on the slides to be pulled through into the LMS and then I will need to be able to report on this.
I was wondering whether you might be able to advise on a question please, does the value of the slider variable get taken from the last point it's dragged to? So hopefully if I drag the slider to end up on the point of 10, will this value show once reported on from the LMS?
Perfect, thank you Matt :) I have these in place already so this is good! ... Sorry, if I may ask another question please, would you happen to know which report I would need to run from the LMS to show this data? I have published the survey and tested it today but unfortunately it appears to be showing no data results at all. I ran the report under 'SCORM Detail' and selected 'Enter Value(s) for SCORM Lesson code. Would this be correct?
Thank you again, your help is very much appreciated!
I am using a Kallidus LMS? When I published the material I did publish in SCORM 2004 (4th Edition) - just having a real struggle being able to review the results at the end!
Hi, Olivia -- Thanks for reaching out and while I am also not familiar with having used Kallidus, I did want to pass along a few threads where that particular LMS was discussed here, here and here. You would be welcome to reach out to the participants in those discussions who use Kallidus directly via the 'Contact Me' link on their profile page, or as Matthew had mentioned, it would also be a good idea to reach out to Kallidus support for their input, as well.
Did anyone get this to work? I also need to create a slider or a dial, from 1-10, and capture the learner's response number, i.e., from one to ten how likely are you to recommend this course?...I wanted to make this an interactive piece, that will send the responses to my LMS. I have tried many ways of adjusting the triggers and variables, but nothing works. I am sure I am doing it wrong. Has anyone successfully built something like that? Thanks.

Matt,
Thank you very much indeed :) it looks scarily complicated to achieve! But I will give it my best shot!
Thanks again for your help,
Olivia

Hi there Marcia!
Check out Walt's advice to Olivia in this forum discussion--that should get you started in the right direction!
Also, this article on sending the value of a variable to an LMS is a good one to keep in your back pocket.
