I copy a text box from one layer, and paste it into another layer. It keeps most of the formatting, but changes the font to Articulate - which I have no-where else in the project. I try to chage it back to Calibri - at the top of my list of fonts, but this doesn't work - I have to alphabetically go through the list of fonts to change it back to what I wanted.
This bug existed in the older version - I see it hasn't been fixed yet!
Have you sent this to the tech guys to put it on their radar again as this really does need to be fixed. Here's the support case link in case you need it.
Is this in SL2 - latest version Update 1: 1410.204? I have just given it a go and copy / paste a text box with formatting from one layer to another works ok for me.
I have tested this in Storyline 2, and when i pasted the text box, the format and the font stayed as Calibri. I also changed the size, and that pasted over as well.
You can right click the text box and set as default text box to save the font as well.
