System Suggestions for building eLearning

Hi All

I don't know if this is an appropriate place to ask, but I'm looking at buying a computer system to create Articulate 360 files, for example Storyline, and continue my current setup.

All my software is Mac, or subscriptions to Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.

Have any of you created content in a virtual windows environment on a Mac? If so how easy was it? What were your system capabilities. Suggestions for RAM etc.

Would creating a separate boot volume of windows on the computer be safer? Have any of you tried this? Am I crazy to try?

Yes, lots of us do this. I've been using Storyline in a virtual machine since SL1 and can't remember the last time I had an issue.

I'm using a late 2014 iMac with 32GB memory. I use VMWare Fusion with Win 10 (as well as a bunch of other virtual machines for testing old versions of IE).

Most of the time I'll allocate 12GB memory to the virtual machine and keep 20GB for the Mac side of things.
