"Take Screenshot" while Recording Screen

Great question - I tried this myself, and couldn't figure out where they went either, so I did a bit of digging through the forums and found this thread, where Peter had the same issue and he confirmed the following with our team: 

"There is no "screen shot". We are just forcing a new slide to be created at that point in time when the recording is imported."

And in my testing, I've noticed that these slides are only being created when you insert the screen recording as a Step-by-Step video, and not as a Video on a Single Slide. 

He also recommended if you wanted to export parts of your screen recording as images, you could use this method.

Is there a way to get a sound to play when you take a screen shot?  In captivate it plays a camera sound so you know it was taken.

A sound doesn't play when you use Storyline's screenshot tool, but I'll let our team know that a "camera sound" could make the feature even better! Thanks for the idea. 😊
