when i download one of the free templates into Storyline i get a message saying that the template was created in an older version. It downloads but does not open. Has anybody had this issue before ?
Is the message you see this :This Project was built with a previous version of Storyline. Would you like to upgrade it to Storyline 2"
This just means the template was made in SL1. You can hit upgrade and the file should open for you. It will also create a backup version for use in SL1 if you need it.
You could also use the Import from Storyline option when inserting a new slide to add the template in as well.
