I am developing a trainings course for a shipping company. The tool shall be used on a ships without a constant internet connection. A use of LMS is impossible.
I try to find a function to export the assessment results in an extra folder or at least as PDF. Is there any way to fullfill this requirements.
Since you have limited internet connect, it sounds like you need to distribute the course offline. Storyline 360 has an option for that! Just publish for CD, then deliver your course to learners via CD, network drive, email, or the other methods listed here.
You can also add a Print Results button to your result slide. This will allow learners to print out a summary of their results or save them as a PDF to be emailed to the course instructor.
Thank you for your reply. The Print Button is not working in the Player and not in the Internet Explorer as well. It is just working if I start the program as HTML or HTML 5 in Firefox. Therefor I have to distribute a Firefox portable version as well.
Is there any option to Save the results somehow directly in a folder or in a excel sheet. Somehow it should be possible.
If it's not working in IE, you may want to look into the settings you have for any pop up blockers or similar security restrictions. That would be interfering with the generation of the HTML file for the printable results.
The user will have to choose where/how to save the results, there is not a method that happens automatically. You could look at ideas shared here in ELH where users implemented a print using Javascript to see if there is a way to force the download.
