Test results are being averaged when user takes the test more than once

Jul 12, 2016

After assigning a course to a bunch of people, we discovered that if the user passes the test first try, it is fine. If they fail the first time and retake the test (they are aloud 2 attempts) it averages their score. So with a minimum passing score of 80%, if they got 50% the first time and 100% the second, they still fail because it comes up with 75% as their result.

Is it a setting or something that I am just not seeing?

Hi, Christine -- Thanks so much for reaching out, and in addition to Russell's suggestion to check with your LMS, may I ask if you might be able to share the name of the LMS provider you use in case there are others who use the same service and could weigh in here? And are you finding the same behavior when you test your course in the SCORM Cloud, as well?
