Test scores not displaying when published

Hi, I have built an e-learning module in Articulate Storyline 3, when I check my results page for the test in Preview, it shows the scores correctly.  Once published however, the test scores are no longer displayed.

Help!

Hi Phoebe! 

Hmm, that doesn't sound right! How are you tracking the progress of the course? 

To look, you'll need to go into "Publish". Click "LMS" and near the bottom, you should see a button that reads "Reporting and Tracking". This will open another screen, and in the Tracking section, you can designate how you want the results to be tracked.

The options are:

  • Number of Slides Viewed
  • Results Slide
  • Course Completion Trigger

Hi!

Not sure I can share the content with an external company, but I will check and come back to you.

It’s happening on the 3 browsers we have access to, Explorer, Chrome and Edge.

I’m publishing it to HTML5 with Flash back up. The results pages are working in preview... but as soon as they’re published the scores disappear! All other functionality on the Results pages seem to be working.

have you tried publishing to Scorm Cloud to see if the same thing happens?  This will determine if it is a SL issue or an LMS issue.

Also just to let you know your email signature came through - if you click View on the email you can come into the forum and edit your post to remove it if you want.

Hi, Phoebe. Thanks for working with us on this!

I used Storyline 3, Update 8, to publish and then hosted the package in SCORM Cloud, an LMS testing environment we use to gauge course performance–here's the link!

I was able to take the quiz and view the results in Chrome 79 without any issues. Could you try my link and let me know if you see the result display problem there? Also, what browser versions are you using to view the content?

Sorry about the delay.

Your link seems to work fine. So, have you worked out why it wasn't calculating the score when I publish it?

Is it to do with the update?
