I have added my Text to speech script, I can preview it and I can edit it but when I preview the slide/scene there is no audio playing. Please advise. Thanks.
How odd that the text-to-speech audio isn't playing for you when previewed. May I ask if you could explain a little more about your file and slide? How was the text-to-speech script added to the course?

I encountered the same issue as well. I added additional space in the text to speech window by pressing enter twice. It seems to have worked on both times I had the issue. See if that works.

Lastly, we released Storyline 360 Update 44 (Build 3.44.23192.0) last week. Make sure you're using the latest version to take advantage of the recent bug fixes and features that are released.

Here are the answers to the questions you asked:

No. In fact, it happens intermittently on some text to speech interaction. Not sure what triggers it. I usually catch it when I preview my work.
* Which version of Storyline are you using?
I am currently using Storyline360 version 3.4122509.0.
* Does the audio play when publishing the project?
No. It plays when I preview just the text to speech interaction. I only find out it won't play when I preview a scene/slide or publish the work.
Unfortunately, I don't have a "broken" version of the storyline file. I'll let you know if it happens again and send it to you.
