Text alignment in a button on hover state
Mar 29, 2018
Hi,
I have an issue with the alignment on the hover state. I have a button with a reference to a variable. The button have the std set of states.
The alignment is set to middle and left. I have unchecked the wrap text option.
When i preview the page and hover the button the text jumps to the top of the button. However, it looks like it works when publishing the course. Is this an known issue? If i add plain text in the button the alignment works.
Does anyone seen this before? Using SL360

Hi Mats
No I haven't seen that behaviour. I just did two tests
Both returned same - text in the same position.
Perhaps you can do a Peek video of how you are creating the states.
Hi Wendy,
I have done some more testing and found that if the button have a reference to a variable the alignment get off centre, if i remove the link to the variable the alignment stays.
I have uploaded a peek here:

Hi Mats
I see the same behaviour
Hi Wendy, so will this be registered as a bug?
HI Mats
this is the public forum - so you'd need to log a ticket with support and you can reference this post so they can see both our examples.
