We wish to use a simple text "X" on a layer as a hot spot that will return the user to the base layer. All seems well until it is published and then the "X" disappears. The hot spot still exists, as the mouse pointer changes when you hover over the spot where the text was and works as it should. We've made sure that the text box is all the way forward, but that does not seem to make a difference. Any thoughts?
Hi, Richard -- Thanks for reaching out with your question! As you mentioned that ll seems will until your course is published and then the X disappears, may I ask if you are testing the course in the intended environment and are seeing the same there, as well?
And I agree with Wendy that it may be most helpful if you were able to share your file, so please use the grey ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box and you can upload from there. :)

is the X in hidden state at the start of the timeline? Perhaps if you can upload the slide easier for someone to help you.
