regardless of my settings my text bubbles fade out at the end of my timeline. I have my character set to show until end and he stays. I have even tried show always on the text bubbles and they still disappear. This is for many of the slides. Any thoughts on fixing this?
An end animation will complete its animation in time to disappear at the moment it is to end. So, like Susi says, if you have an object showing to the end of the timeline, it will begin its animation early enough to complete it and be completely gone by the end of the timeline.

Did you set an end animation?
An end animation will complete its animation in time to disappear at the moment it is to end. So, like Susi says, if you have an object showing to the end of the timeline, it will begin its animation early enough to complete it and be completely gone by the end of the timeline.
That was the problem...though I do not recall ever adding this.
