I converted a course that I built in Studio '09 into Storyline and I am having problems with the text. All of the text is in a text box and in Studio '09 the text was displayed in 2 colums.
When I converted the course into Storyline, the text columns disappeared and I cannot figure out how to covert it back to it's original state. The text size is also too small now. I have tried the alignment, arrange, and text box settings with no success.
Importing PowerPoint content into Storyline is not an exact one-to-one conversion. As a result, text may look a bit different. And although most features in PowerPoint and Articulate Presenter are supported in Storyline, some are not. For more information, please take a look at this knowledge base article.
You might also want to take a look at this tutorial and this suggestion from one of our community Heroes. I think the suggestion Gerry posted may work for you, give it a try
The articles were helpful. I eventually figured out a way to do it. It's takes a little bit more time than in Studio '09, but it works.
I created border and then inserted 2 text boxes side by side to create columns for the text. Then I synced the text in each text box on the timeline. You just need to manage 2 separate text boxes instead of one.
Here is what is looks like now in Storyline in case someone else might want to use this technique:
